What I liked

I recently had to come into the hospital as an emergency with a blood clot in my leg, but 3 days later I was due to go on a 14 day cruise, the two doctors who treated me were absolutly fantastic the managed to disolve the clot and did ballooning of my arteries in my leg. they not only saved my leg and stopped it from being amputated ,I managed to make the cruise as well, all the staff including the angiogram department are all wonderful and I am so grateful to all of them

What could be improved

I sent an e-mail to the chief executive via the hospitals website directly about four weeks ago as yet I still await an acknowledgment, why on your website have a contct section if you cannot be inclined to reply.

The comments we e-mail in could be good,bad,or indifferent, even so they are all worthy of a reply, you never know some of the patients comments may save the hospital trust money, as compliment members of staff, which if you took the trouble to read and reply to and pass on to the member of staff the compliment, it would boost their morale, making them feel really good about their work they are doing
