"Outstanding service"

About: Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency Control

(as a carer),

I would like to thank NI Ambulance service for their outstanding service to my family member.  The 999 call staff (dispatcher) spoke professionally and provided reassurance during a distressing time.  We had a long wait which is shocking for CVA however it’s no individuals fault & luckily no harm occurred.

When the Ambulance arrived, the paramedics provided outstanding care and quick interventions, they displayed compassion and empathy not only to their patient,  it also to upset family members, they communicated their plan, promptly conveyed the individual straight to ED.

Family & Friends will be forever grateful for the service NIAS provided.  A service that is coping with unprecedented demand & pressures, however with the service & care we experienced, NIAS will keep our communities safe.

Forever Grateful

Good morning EddieK41

Thank you for taking the time to share your valued feedback. We are always grateful to those who share their experiences of the services they have received. It was reassuring to learn of your positive experience and kind words associated with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, from the professionalism of the call handler to the paramedics who attended the call, bringing calmness, direction and stability to what can be a highly stressful situation. Feedback such as this lifts the morale of the paramedics involved in what is a particularly challenging period.

I wish your family member the best with their recuperation.

Ruairi Cummings
