"I feel valued"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been in CAH since Wednesday after being referred by my GP due to a variety of issues. Having been here a few days, I can definitely say that it is a well-run ward. I am extremely happy with the care I am receiving in AMU. Everything has been efficient and effective. I am pleased with how caring the staff are, I feel looked after and valued. I am pleasantly surprised at how nice the food is- the variety is superb and great flavour to it. There is a great hygiene standard maintained on this ward- which is a testament to how hard the cleaning staff work. Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience in AMU. I am glad to hear you have received a good standard of treatment and care, and that you felt supported on the ward. I will pass on the feedback to the team and wish you all the best since your admission to the ward
