My son broke his wrist on Monday afternoon, he was seen by Roxanne in children's A and E triage, xrayed and then seen by CN Mark and then put into plaster by Paula.
The care was amazing and really quick, the doctor reviewed the xrays and he had to have an operation the following morning on Rainforest ward. The nurses (katie and margaret) were wonderful and both the surgeon and anaesthetist were really good and explained everything to my son and to me in a way that he felt comfortable and reassured.
He has gone to school today with his plaster and sling on feeling really well and this is thanks to the care and expertise of the wonderful staff.
He got upset in theatre and the staff were amazing and looked after us both, the nurse was called Jo she was wonderful.
Thank you all so much we really appreciate you care even though you were busy nothing was too much trouble.
