Ward 28 is an embarrassment to Barnsley hospital or should I say extra embarrassmen. What a joke. My Nannan was admitted onto the ward and for 3week all they gave her was paracetomol for fluid on the liver which in the end turned out to be cancer and she passed away. Bearing in mind she was in hospital 6week and in the 5th week was when we found out she had the C word. Absolutely disgusting what sort of hospital can't do all the tests neccasary to find out what is wrong with her instead just give her paracetamol? I will never ever go back to Barnsley hospital for anything regarding me or my family. My beautiful Nannan had the worse time on ward 28 nobody helping her when she needed toliet and she wasn't stable enough to do it on her own so she had to mess herself because she couldnt get out of bed fast enough. I can't express my hatred for the place. Don't go on Ward 28 or if there is someone on that ward you know don't take the 1st answer those doctors say.
