"The staff in HDU are the best about"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / High Dependency Unit (HDU)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I came in to ED on Saturday night. I was in resus before being moved up to HDU. The staff are absolutely brilliant, especially Femmin, Jill, Gail and Ann. Dr Cormac has been excellent too. The only negative side to my experience has been, the past 4 days my dinners and breakfasts have been forgot about. The nurses and porters end up having to run and look for a dinner for me then. But other than that I've been very well looked after.

Dear Tersq6,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on Care Opinion. Feedback like this is greatly valued and I will make sure that the nursing and medical team of High Dependency are made aware of your lovely comments.

I apologize regarding our poor performance at mealtimes and I will discuss this with the ward Sister for any learning we can take from this.

I wish you good health.

Regards

Josephine Matthews
