"Rheumatology experience"

Each of my rheumatology appointments that have been in face have been amazing. Dr McHenry is thorough, checking every joint and going the extra mile. She always shows me my joints on the ultrasound machine, showing if there is any current disease activity. In my last appointment I was still so anxious even with her reassurance, so she ordered an x-ray to help relieve my fears. Within a few weeks I had the results posted to my house, showing no bone erosion. It meant the world to me that Dr McHenry listened to me and communicated back my results in a way that I could process in my own time. I am aware of the overwhelmed services, short staffing and inadequate conditions for a lot of NHS workers, so I was amazed to still see such excellent care.
