"They showed genuine interest"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

After many days of not being able to get an appointment for my GP I was left with no option but to attend Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Accident and Emergency department.

From the moment I walked in the gentleman on reception was kind and helpful and the triage nurse that assessed me was lovely. I can't thank the Doctor Ahmed who  attended to me enough.  They put me at ease and showed genuine interest in my condition and made sure to address my pain at that time.

Dear T@QE,

thank you for taking the time to submit a care opinion about your recent attendance to the Emergency Department. I hope you are continuing to feel better at home and your pain has settled. I have passed on your kind comments to Doctor Ahmed & the reception and nursing staff, they’ll be delighted to know you felt at ease & listened to and your experience was a positive one from the moment you arrived in to the department.

With kind regards,

Karen
