"Everyone has a very caring attitude"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Stroke Unit (Level 4)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Stroke & Rehab has been fine for me so far. The staff have all been very good and ensure that I understand everything that is going on. They really do have a very caring attitude. I would like to mention Brian in particular who has been absolutely excellent. Any OT or physio who has come to see me has been great as well.

The ward has been kept spotless and the staff always make sure I am comfy enough. The bathrooms have been alright and kept clean enough for me. The food is ok but it is hospital food. It can be a bit noisy at night with all the shouting and snoring going on which can make it hard to sleep. However, apart from this, everything else has been fine and I have nothing I can really think of that needs improving.

Good Morning

I am sorry to hear that you have been unwell we hope that you get home soon and that your recovery journey wasn't too long. The ward would like to thank you for saying such lovely things the staff are delighted your experience has been a positive one. we are sorry to hear that you have experienced some noisy nights at ward level we will try our best to keep the noise to a minimum though this may not always be possible due to the nature of our patients being confused.

Take Care Ursula
