"Thank you for your effort, class and professionalism."

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Alexandra Hospital / Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a relative),

My Mum was rushed into A&E by Ambulance to the RHA at the end of July. She had passed out and banged her head badly as she went down.

I would like to thank everyone involved in her care. From Ross and Danny that brought her in in their ambulance, to Dr Boom who received her, to Bobby and the other nurses in the unit. I can't remember the names of every team member involved but I can say that everyone was top drawer and the attention to her care is appreciated massively.

She was admitted and stayed for a week in the CCU units. Thanks to every person that played a part in her care.

Within 4 hours of arrival, she had an ECG, whole body X-ray and CT Scan. All performed with the minimum of fuss and all without any significant delay.

On behalf of my Mum, Rona, myself and all the family, thank you for your effort and your class and your professionalism.

Thank you so much Alaska1

On behalf of the A&E team involved in your Mum's care, I would like to acknowledge your kind words and will ensure those involved receive sight of your post.

It must have been such a frightening period for you and your Mum. Your words are greatly appreciated in recognising the care afforded. I do hope your Mum is recovering well from her ordeal.

Best wishes and thanks for sharing on Care Opinion

Gerry
