"A brilliant response for a patient on a challenging journey"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Oncology

(as a service user),

I needed to call the assessment centre at Lincoln as I was feeling wobbly following chemotherapy. Despite it being over the phone, the nurse I spoke with was extremely kind and caring and highly professional. She went through everything and reassured me.

Lincolnshire is a huge county and being able to speak to someone who responds in such a way is brilliant for a patient on a challenging journey. I am extremely grateful.

My call was a week after my chemo, because I felt wobbly. Huge thanks to the Staff Nurse that answered.
