"Sad story of the decline of the lawson practice"

About: The Lawson Practice

(as the patient),

I have had ongoing issues for around 2 or 3 years now. Its sad to say the GP surgery I have attended since i was a baby has pushed me so far as to change practices.

I feel if I stay with the Lawson practice and something is seriously wrong with me they would never diagnose it.

I have called and attempted to get an appointment more than 10 times with no luck. I put this down to covid 19 and the pressures that have come with it.

I finally received and attended appointment and I was shocked how terrible it was.

I have had a terrible headache 3 times a day everyday for the last two weeks. I spoke to the GP and they advised me to drink water and get better sleep. The GP said I should google how to get better sleep! I am incredibly worried about this headaches and I feel I have no choice but to go into A&E if I am to get treated seriously.

This is not the first time ive had lax practitioners. It got so bad I wrote a letter to the practice requesting a particular GP to be my doctor that was the only time I felt heard.

At this point this GP has left the practice and I have no faith in care I will be receiving.
