"Not sure what's happened"

About: Framlingham Surgery

I moved to Framlingham 5 years ago and was initially very impressed with the surgery. I was always able to get an appointment with a doctor and could even book to see one online.

However in the last couple of years this is no longer the case. I now have no idea how to actually see a doctor. If you ring up for an appointment on the day you are given one with a paramedic (who is good and kind, but not a doctor). You can not book appointments in advance. How do you see a doctor?!

I have been prescribed medication over the phone with no examination and renewed it online without any review - despite it only supposed to be used with medical supervision.

Where are the doctors?

Thank you for taking the time to review our practice. We value all patient feedback & will share this with the team.

To try and improve access for urgent and new problems we have developed an on the day team. The team consists of a two paramedics, advanced nurse practitioner and practice nurse. The duty GP provides oversight and supervision as required.

You are still able to book a routine GP appointment with reception.
