A sweet got stuck in my daughter's throat recently. She could still breathe but it was lodged firmly and she was in a very bad state.
A&E at the Vic in Fife prioritised her and saw her quickly. Sandra, the Triage Nurse, did not leave her for a single minute and did everything she could to prioritise her care and make sure she was ok. Luckily it dislodged (thank God) and she received a very thorough follow up from Dr Pitt.
Dr Pitt and Sandra helped us during what was possibly the scariest thing that's ever happened to me as a mum, and as always we are profoundly grateful for the service provided by the Vic hospital who just carry on being amazing.
Thank you from all of us
