I use the Phlebotomy Hub at Ards Hospital for giving blood before my cancer treatment and I've been told recently that it is due to close next March. I am devastated as this place is so close to me and saves me getting a lift to the Ulster Hospital and having to wait.
Also, the staff at the hub are always courteous, friendly and full of chat, in fact because of my chemo which is usually a couple days later and is very painful and stressful, giving blood at this place makes life a little bit easier.
