Dear TMS,

It is difficult to usefully comment on your concerns without suitable details (which of course it would not be appropriate to share here).

Service users’ care may need to be transferred for a variety of reasons including if they move to another area of the city. Determining when to transfer care between teams is not always straightforward; many factors will need to be taken into account in order to minimise the disruption for the service user and to ensure that an appropriate service continues to be made available for them.

If you have concerns about the timescale you describe and worry that the service user might be disadvantaged, could I ask that you raise this with your line manager?

Yours sincerely,

Guy Brookes

Associate Medical Director
