The doctor I was seen by sort of made me feel like there were no other options for me and my keloid. That after the injections there is nothing left to do. Which may be true I don't know, but just left me feeling like I have to live with this didn't feel helpful

Dear Lynxch64,

We host a minor surgery clinic at this practice on Thursdays. I think you may be commenting about this service.

I am sorry that you thought the appointment was unhelpful. Keloid scars are very resistant to treatment and sadly injections do not always help. It would not have been the Doctors intention to be unhelpful but he would have had to ensure that you fully understood the limitation of the procedure.

You can of course speak to your own GP for further advise.
