"All has been good so far"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 2 North Respiratory medicine Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I arrived here on Monday night via an ambulance. It was at my house pretty quickly, within about 45 minutes or so. The paramedics on scene were fantastic they helped me out a lot. I live alone so they didn't have any help but still done a great job. Once I got to hospital I was in the emergency department for a while before I was brought up here.

All has been good so far, the staff are very good to me and the others on the ward always keeping us upbeat. The facilities are good too I have good access to everything I need. No complaints.

Good afternoon

I am grateful to you for taking the time to share your experiences of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. It was encouraging to discover the swift response by the crew and their professionalism in their ability to stabilise the situation to bring ease and calmness before being brought to the emergency department at Craigavon Area Hospital for further treatment. Feedback such as this lifts the morale of the paramedics involved in what is a particularly challenging period.

I hope you are recovering well.

Best wishes

Ruairi Cummings
