I was referred to the Endoscopy unit at Scarborough Hospital for a colonoscopy examination. This took place last week. Whilst this is not the most comfortable of procedures at no time did I feel embarrassed or uncomfortable with any of the terrific staff who were on duty that day.
the care I received was absolutely first class, from Dr. Woodcock to all the nursing staff, sorry I never made a note of their names, but their importance on this team should not be diminished by my thoughtlessness. I could not have received better care and attention had I been a private patient. Thank you, everyone. You all deserve a medal the size of a dustbin lid!!
