"Great care in ward 39 Glasgow Royal Infirmary"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Elderly Medicine (12, 14, 18, 23, 29, 30, 32, 33,35 ,39 & 53)

(as a relative),

My dad has just been discharged from ward 39 GRI...My dad and his the family would like to thank the staff for their excellent care provided during his stay. This ward provided a safe environment which appeared calm at all times. They provided excellent person centred care especially when the nurses let him watch the horse racing on the TV every day, which was one of his likes documented on the "what matters to me" board above his bed. He's home today and doing better than he has in the previous months..Thanks everyone for providing an excellent service. Dad and all the family are so grateful for everything you do.

Dear Grateful Relative

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback, I know all the team will be delighted to receive it. Person centred care is a real priority for us and I’m so pleased that your father had such a good experience. I’m sorry that he hasn’t been well recently but glad he is on the mend - wishing him the best of luck in his continued recovery and also with the horses!
