Over the past couple of years, I’ve been undergoing tests for a persistent cough & wheeze.

I’ve had a number of appointments and tests but my first today with Consultant Respiratory Nurse, Natalie. Natalie was a breath of fresh air, professionalism and patient engagement that left me feeling for the first time that my symptoms were taken seriously and that a course of action would be put in place to properly identify the underlying cause and treat accordingly.

In a time where I find so much criticism from the media is pointed at the NHS, I can honestly say that my experience with Natalie (Nurse Consultant) who is so professional and knowledgeable was a credit to Dorset County Hospital and the NHS.
