"Breastfeeding support group"

About: Public Health Nursing / Breastfeeding Support Service

(as a service user),

On two Wednesdays per month, the support group meets in Portrush to support breastfeeding mothers which I have attended on numerous occasions. By attending I was encouraged to continue breastfeeding for longer, have got to eleven months exclusively breastfeeding with no intention to stop soon all being well. Getting out and about was really good for my socializing as staying in can be very lonely and can affect mental health so this group helped with that too.
