"Treated with care and attention and made to feel at ease"

About: New Victoria Hospital / X-rays and scans Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Xrays and Scans

(as a relative),

My husband has just had 3 scans, 2 of which were at the New Victoria Royal Infirmary and 1 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow.

In all cases my husband was treated with care and attention and made to feel at ease at such a tense time.  We have to now wait on the results which is causing me severe scanxiety but fingers crossed.

The 2 lovely ladies (Dawn and didn't catch the lady's name in office) at the Nuclear Bone Scan were very attentive and caring and made sure he was kept aware of what was happening - he even got to stick his own music on to listen to whilst getting scan.

Thank you NHS - you are the best and don't get paid enough in any manners or means.

Dear pagerqq58

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was glad to hear the care and treatment your husband has received from the staff has been to a high standard and he felt well cared for.

I'll be happy to pass on your thanks to Dawn and the staff who I'm sure will be touched to read your comments.

I hope you don't need to wait much longer for his results.

Kind regards

Kevin
