"A credit to the team"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

Due to my son's pain and mobility I took my son to the ED at Wishaw.

We were booked in by a lovely receptionist and then seen by Mhairi the Physio in the Minors area. After a full assessment, my son was sent for an Urgent MRI.

I honestly cannot thank Mhairi enough for her full assessment and explaining everything in detail to my son, who was really worried as he is normally fully fit and in the gym every day. He came away understanding what was wrong and how he could give his body a break and let it recover.

Although he is still in so much pain, I know he will make a good recovery with the advice he has been given. Thanks again, and Mhairi is indeed a credit to the team.

Dear m79,

I'm sorry to hear of your sons pain and mobility issues. Thank you for taking the time to feedback in relation to your experience at A&E in Wishaw University hospital.

I'm delighted to hear Mairi took time to communicate in a fashion that helped to reduce your son's worries, completed a full assessment and explained the cause and potential solution to your son's problems.

We will ensure to feedback to Mairi and we wish your son all the best in his recovery and return to fitness.

Brian
