"I couldn't be happier with the care"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been on the AMU ward for a few days now, the staff on this ward are all lovely. I couldn't be happier with the care they have provided, the communication with them is fantastic things are always explained well and I'm never left confused.

The facilities on the ward are fine, I have found the bathroom accessible. The shower on my side of the ward doesn't have a shower head that moves and I'm unable to wash my hair myself so I have had to use the other shower, as it is much better and the shower head can be adjusted. Which has made it easier for someone to help me whilst washing.

I'm comfortable on the ward and I have a good bit of space, everything is cleaned really well. I have had no problems here, I think all the staff are great, everything is just very slow at the minute as I'm waiting to get a minor surgery so I can be discharged, but the staff are all fantastic.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience in AMU. I am glad to hear you have received a good standard of treatment and care, and that you felt comfortable on the ward. I will pass on the feedback to the team and wish you all the best.
