About: Antrim Area Hospital / Direct Assessment Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My son attended the DAU at the end of last year.  He was very unwell for a number of weeks it was a stressful time.

I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff, nursing, medical, admin, catering, domestic staff for making our journey as good as it could have been. Investigations were carried out, we were updated with results and as much information as they could provide. Follow up appointments were organised, we attended the department once a week for about 6 weeks. The staff showed kindness and compassion to both me and my son.

I just want the staff to know they are doing a great job and I am so very thankful to them all.
