"I was apprehensive at undergoing further surgery"

I attended ward 8 PRI for metalwork removal from my right knee. After a tough 5 months following a fall on holiday in which I sustained a patella fracture, I was apprehensive at undergoing further surgery. All of the staff in ward 8 went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

The journey from the ward, to theatre, recovery and back to the ward was seamless. All the staff involved along the way were brilliant and I honestly can’t thank everyone enough for the gold standard of care I received. Lastly, I would like to thank Ms Nurm and Mr Semple my surgeons who have managed to put my knee back together and allow me to finally enjoy my life again. Will be forever grateful to everyone.
