Pregnancy and birth at RAH. Felt well cared for throughout. Particularly during labour with the midwife. She kept my birth calm and I felt in control the whole time.
I would say, that there is a lot of jargon used by NHS staff during pregnancy, something as simple as “go to the CMU” and I had to ask what that meant and where which I can only imagine some people might not feel confident enough to ask.
Finding my way around the maternity building felt rather daunting too, I feel places could be directed to a little better.
