"Fast efficient treatment"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

On my way to a family birthday party I opened the car door and cut my head. Went straight to A&E and was seen within half an hour. The staff were all caring and put my mind at ease to make sure I was calm. They reassured me they would have me cleaned up and able to attend the party after-all.

I received 4 stitches from ANP Michelle who made it almost painless with her lovely bed-side manner.

Thanks to the staff I made the party. All too often staff don’t get recognised for the wonderful work they do. Long hours in sometimes harrowing circumstances.

Thanks again

Dear weenor

I would like to thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback following your recent admission to the Emergency Department within University Hospital Ayr.

I delighted to hear that you received such prompt, professional and compassionate care, from our staff whilst you were under our care. When times are challenging, it’s always nice to hear such positive feedback from our patients.

It will be my pleasure to share your lovely comments with Michelle and the wider Team. Michelle will be glad to hear that you were able to make the party.

Please accept my good wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
