(as the patient),

I wanted to give credit where its due to the Elective C-section team at VHK. The whole process was managed well and I felt fully informed of what to expect before I arrived. The team are friendly and reassuring and paid particular attention to how I felt after a previous negative experience a few years prior.

A special shout out to our midwife Leanne who went above and beyond to make us feel cared for and valued. She ensured I got the best experience and first moments with my baby and that I was kept up to date throughout the whole surgery and took some great photographs as an extra bonus! 

The whole team were compassionate and supportive in the recovery process.
