"A fantastic midwife!"

About: Banbridge Hospital / Antenatal care Community Midwifery / Craigavon & Banbridge

(as a service user),

From 28 weeks pregnant I decided to transfer my care to the community midwives in Banbridge as I had these girls antenatally/postnatally with my first child.

The care I received was exceptional. I had Yvonne for majority of my appointments which was fantastic for continuity of care. Yvonne and I hit it off straight away.

I was able to trust her and talk through any worries or concerns I had with my pregnancy. Yvonne listened and gave great advice showing compassion and kindness.

Yvonne was gentle when assessing baby’s growth- I had a negative experience before.

I genuinely looked forward to each appointment and after each appointment I left happy and confident that I was doing well in my pregnancy and baby was thriving.

Yvonne always reminded me that if I ever had any worries to contact them which was very reassuring.

Thank you Yvonne for the outstanding care you gave to me throughout this pregnancy. You’re a fantastic midwife!

Dear JD1992

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback on your pregnancy experience

I'm delighted to hear about the wonderful service you received within the Banbridge Community Midwifery team!

I will pass on your truly lovely comments to Yvonne, as well as to the Community team.

I am delighted to hear of your wonderful experience and how you looked forward to your appointments and the reassurance that Yvonne provided you.

We aim to provide continuity of care to all women and your experience speaks volumes of the reason we try our best to implement this within Midwifery services.
