"outdated advice and poorly managed"

About: Corbett Medical Practice

The gp was aware I was trying to conceive. They were satisfied with my tsh hormone being slightly reduced yet still out of the optimal range and weren't aware of the latest guidance. This was only addressed when requested by the fertility clinic. gp was quite patronising/condescending and questioned the advice.

I understand they can't be experts but I do expect them to be aware of relevant updates to guidance (or look it up) on optimal levels of hormones in patients (especially when trying to conceive and knowing the important role of a thryoid in the process)

The process to get an appointment is unnecessarily complex. Staff on the phone often sound fed-up and very curt when speaking despite polite questions.
