(as the patient),

I was in Brook Ward at East Surrey Hospital for my operation for bowel cancer in June/July

I  would like to say a big thank you to all the lovely staff who cared for me whilst I was in there. They were all very kind and caring and made my stay comfortable. 

Also a very big thank you to Dr Smith who did my operation. I met him before the operation and he explained everything that he would be doing regarding the operation, he certainly put my mind at rest after a rather rocky start when I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. 

So thank you again Dr Smith.
