"Perth community midwifery unit - birth"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Community Midwifery Unit

(as a service user),

I had the most wonderful experience at the Perth community midwifery unit.

From the moment I called up to say I was in labour to when I left the following morning with my daughter, everything was perfect.

They made me at ease, made me aware of all the options available to me (which I was grateful for) and nothing was too much for the lovely ladies looking after me.

I was able to spend most of my labour in the birthing pool, with minimal pain relief and when it was time to have my little one the midwives were right there to guide me through it and keep me calm.

My whole birthing experience was so positive and wouldn't have been possible without everyone involved and the community Midwifery unit.

Thank you so much for absolutely everything!💕

Dear Megan J

I wish to congratulate you and your family on the birth of your beautiful baby. It is such a magical time as your family grows, with lots of exciting experiences ahead.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback to our midwifery team at the Perth CMU, it is so valuable to us within the service, to offer assurances our care provision is to the best standard for women and families.

I will be honoured to share this with our team, we strive everyday to ensure women and families receive person centred care, individualised to their needs. It is fantastic for the team to know we achieved this for you and your family, and you will forever have a lovely birth experience to cherish.

I wish you and your family all the very best in the future, and enjoy every moment of your newborn baby

Kindest regards

Stephanie Gardiner
