My 14 yrs old daughter was admitted to ward 1B Crosshouse Hospital with an ENT emergency.  I want to thank all the staff for their care and attention. They made my daughter feel safe and reassured during a very anxious time. Nothing was a problem for the staff and all our concerns were acted upon promptly and professionally. I required to phone the ward for advice as the tonsillar abscess spontaneously burst at home and they promptly contacted the ENT team and phoned me back within 10 mins with advice on how to deal with this. My daughter is feeling much better , thankfully. We are so grateful to the ward who are a credit to the NHS .

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of the care provided within the Paediatric Department within University Hospital Crosshouse

I was sorry to read that your daughter was unwell and required to be admitted for treatment. This can be such a worrying time for parents. I was, however, delighted to hear that your daughter received such professional, kind and compassionate care from our staff whilst she was under our care.

It will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team on the Ward as I know they will be delighted to receive this feedback and it will be really encouraging for them to know that you felt so well supported by them.

Please accept my good wishes for your daughter’s ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.
