About: Rampton Hospital / Mental Health Service

(as the patient),

I am a patient on the Carlisle Mental health ward at Rampton. There are seclusions happening and we cannot do stuff. staff get moved around sometimes to other wards . please listen to me and keep staff on our ward as things get cancelled for us other patients stop ticking the boxes tick box exercise.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We welcome all feedback.

Sorry to hear sessions are being cancelled due to staff redeployment, I appreciate the frustration you must be feeling.

However, it is inspirational to see that you are passionate about being engaged with sessions and activity.

I want to reassure you that decisions to redeploy staff aren’t made lightly. Only in instances where it is vital for us to maintain a safe environment for all.

I will escalate your concerns to Carlisle’s leadership team with a view to them discussing with you how we can navigate the issue together.
