"I really look forward to the tea trolley"

About: Victoria Hospital / Stroke

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Ward 42 has been fine I feel very comfortable in here.

The nurses have all been lovely.

You can have such a laugh with the nursing team it really does make a difference.

I have to have a small procedure today and I am fine as I have had everything well explained to me.

They really do make the patients feel at home in ward 42, we had a television and I really do look forward to the tea trolley coming around, it's so nice to get a cup of tea and a chat.

I have safety sides on my bed which is very good as I have a double bed at home and am not used to sleeping in such a narrow bed, They really do look out for patient safety.

I also have this buzzer and if I need assistance I just have to buzz.

The meals in this hospital are fine and there is always plenty of fluids.

The cleaning staff are great in this ward, they do a great job and always take time to chat to patients too this is really good.

Thank you for feedback on behalf of a patient in Ward 42, Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy.

It really is great to feel appreciated and I will pass your kind comments on the meals and cleanliness of the ward to the Catering and Domestic Services staff concerned.
