"Can’t thank everyone enough for all care during my stay"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Cardiology University Hospital Ayr / Combined Assessment Unit (CAU) University Hospital Ayr / Gastroenterology University Hospital Ayr / X-rays and Scans

(as a service user),

Recently admitted to CAU with possible sepsis, then transferred to Station 9.

Can’t thank everyone enough for all care during my stay. This wasn’t just the doctors and nurses but includes portering staff (I had loads of tests) domestic services teams (fab chats!!) and pharmacy staff.

I had wonderful care and listening teams. I’d also like to thank catering teams as meals were great. I wasn’t going home without having my lunch.

I’m in the middle of having longer term Glasgow treatment and this was a glitch I didn’t need, but they all helped me through it with positivity

Please pass on my thanks to all involved.

Update posted by Flo831 (a service user)

Dannii, thank you so much. I tried to tag as many teams as I could but only some are showing. I had USS Echo and MRCP, with all these teams joining in with my chat and keeping my fun. Seems I’m not allowed to repeat the jokes. I do hope St 9 staff see this as their tag has also gone. I truly couldn’t have had more thorough medical teams or better nursing care. My daughter would like to second all this as she was able to settle at home knowing I was cared for.
