"Always a good response from staff"

I have found the staff to be brilliant in ward 23 of the Victoria Hospital.

All staff have been good at explaining procedures to me. 

Sometimes I don't ask enough questions but I have a member of my family who will always go that one step further and ask the Doctors and nurses if there is more information required or to find out things we are unsure about. This is very reassuring that even if I don't ask at the time my family and I can still be fully informed of what is happening. I really appreciate this as there is always a good response from staff.

In this ward I am in a bay and it is good to have other patients to talk to. I also find that if I need a nurse the other patients will call on one for me if they can see I need some help.

The showering facilities are brilliant I do manage on my own but I know that if I need any help the nurses will always accommodate.

The food is very good and the menu always has a lot of choice.

In my opinion the staff are brilliant on all shifts Day and night.
