I went into Sandwell A&E unable to cope with severe back pain due to prolapsed disc. I was admitted to a ward to get my pain under control.
The nurses were absolutely superb! I cant praise them enough. The network of information sharing between nurses and shift changes was thorough. The organisation of the meal times, through to prescribed medications was just brilliant and all this was clearly done while under constant demand.
They controlled my pain levels to the point I was able to walk and leave after getting an MRI scan.
They were just brilliant. Ignore the doomsday, negative, media hype. The teams at Sandwell Hospital were vigilant, organised and caring for those that needed it most.
You will always get some families demanding their relative is seen the most but they are having to remember vast amounts of information every 12 hour shift.
I left humbled and very proud of Lyndon 3.
