"Excellent OT support in Fife"

I have recently had to call on the services of Fife Council and Fife NHS to provide help to support my elderly mother in her own home. My mother suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis and her mobility has recently worsened.

She has received such caring and supportive assistance from the Community OT West team (Adele) and the Fife NHS Rhuematoid OT (Janet). They recognised that my mother was extremely high priority and they couldn't have done any more to help her.

We will be forever grateful for their kindness and efficiency in dealing with my mother's needs. They listened to her needs and took action, resulting in her feeling that she can manage to live in her own home for the time being. A big thanks to them both!

We use the feedback from Care Opinion to inform and shape our services and so thank you for taking the time to provide us with such hugely positive feedback.

The primary goal of our combined occupational therapy service is to enable people to be able participate in the activities of everyday life and so it is extremely pleasing to know that we have helped your Mum to maintain her independence and ability to continue living in her own home. Both Adele and Janet will be delighted to know that they were able to help support and make a difference to both you and your mother at a time when you needed help. We wish you and your mother all the very best for the future but please do not hesitate to contact us again if we can be of any future help.

Best Wishes, Neil
