My dad was booked in for a cataract to be removed at Woodland Hospital, Kettering. They removed his cataract but didn't have the correct size lens to fit his eye, leaving an elderly man with very little vision and placing him in considerable distress and vulnerability.
Over a week later and they still haven't got the correct lens, and don't know when one will be available.
They then blamed the patient for the failed operation saying it was his fault they couldn't fit the new lens because he was "moving his head too much".
Poor excuses to try to mask their incompetence for ordering the wrong size lens for his eye.
Very poor indeed
"Very poor."
