I know how busy Medoc gets and the waits are usually horrendous. On Sunday it was reasonably busy, the staff were so kind and helpful. I did have a very long wait but was triaged, seen and given blood thinners and an appointment for a doppler scan yesterday.

Seen straight away and had the scan. Ultrasound staff were very kind.

Went back to a very packed waiting area and called reasonably quickly, obviously I was there just for a scan result.

Seen by very pleasant nurses and was reassured no DVT.

I have had not so pleasant experiences in the past but I felt the morale of the staff was high this time considering the pressures of working in such a busy department.
