"Ambulance was held up, but paramedic did all he could to get us to hopistal on time"

(as a service user),

I used the ambulance service to take me to Frenchay Hospital.

Unfortunately, on the way, there was a hold up on the A38 for a while. It was nothing the driver could control as they were digging up the road. Keith (I think his name was) tried his best to get us to the hospital in good time, but the holdup delayed us by 15-20 minutes.

I have a feeling the driver may have been told off for the delay, and I just wanted to contact to let you know that it wasn’t his fault; I don’t want him getting in trouble!

The service I received at Frenchay was brilliant.
