"Lovely, caring staff"

About: Ealing Hospital / Accident and emergency Ealing Hospital / General surgery

(as a relative),

My dad, who has dementia, was taken in for emergency hernia operation which had complications. From the time we were waiting in A&E to being discharged 2 days later the staff were nothing but kind, caring and professional - taking extra care due to his dementia.

Ealing hospital (now London North West University Trust) has had bad press in the past and we have had not so good experiences before but this time around I couldn't have wished for a better team to look after my dad.

Working in Health and Social care myself (not as a medical professional) I know its not easy and you can just see how overworked they are but these guys were AMAZING!

Thank you so much to all of you

Dear LillySKD,

Thank you so much for leaving your review following your dad's recent stay at Ealing Hospital. It was very heart warming to read the great care you and your dad received and especially as you dad has dementia.

As you have mentioned our departments are busy so it is lovely that you were both treated with care and compassion.

I will make sure to share your feedback with our Accident and Emergency department staff members so that their good work does not go unnoticed,

Thank you again for your feedback.

Best wishes,

Leanne Fernandes -Patient Experience and Engagement Lead
