Had a three week stay mainly in ward 9. The nursing care was amazing. However, there were often many trip hazards in the room. One night when I went to the toilet I had to navigate over massive hoist sheet that had been left on the chairs which already gave restricted access to toilet. Also a patient was taken for scan one day and their table was left blocking toilet access. Access to the shared sink was also restricted due to a patient's wheelchair that was never once used. I pointed out the trip hazards but was not taken seriously. Where I work a near miss report would have been filed.
