I am on a long journey to hopefully have a TVT mesh removal. I finally received my appointment to be seen at the Scottish Mesh Centre at the start of July. My letter stated I would be seeing a particular female doctor. When I was shown to the room I was seen by 2 males doctors with no explanation as to where the other doctor was and why she wasn't seeing me!
I have to say that this journey so far has been hard and a fight to be seen, to arrived at the New Victoria Hospital and not be seen by the Dr I thought I was seeing was upsetting and disappointing.
All appointments via the NHS I have also seen said person on the letter, but this seems to be another flaw in the process of women being seen regarding mesh!!
