"Excellent Care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Acute Medical Initial Assessment Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Outpatients General Practices in Grampian

(as a service user),

I returned from a trip to the USA with a swollen and painful leg. I thought it might be a deep vein thrombosis. I contacted my GP who invited me to come to the surgery right away. She examined me and gave me an anti-coagulant injection. She then made an appointment for me to go to hospital to check whether it was a DVT. I arrived at hospital. People were very friendly and I was in and out in a reasonably short period of time. The whole process was excellent and the staff all round were first class. Very impressive.

Dear David545,

Many thanks for taking the time to write in about your experience at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and your kind words. I will ensure your feedback is shared with the team and know how much it will mean to them.

I hope you are recovering well.
