"Better than a hotel"

The Female Surgical Ward at Daisy Hill Hospital really has been better than a hotel. The staff are all absolutely delightful and I feel it is a disgrace the way they get treated by some patients. Lucy, one of the Healthcare Assistants, has been absolutely unbelievable during my stay here. Anjumol, one of the nurses, has also been excellent. I have had absolutely no problems with any staff member. You really couldn’t get a better attitude from the staff.

The ward itself had been very clean and comfortable and all the staff really couldn’t do enough for you – you could eat your dinner from the floors they have been kept that clean. Any food I have had has been grand and it is always provided with good service. I have had absolutely no problems with the bathrooms or showers.
