I recently attended Northampton General Hospital (Manfield Day Surgery) to have a carpal tunnel decompression.
I want to thank:
a) the admission staff, nurses, registrar, assistant and ancillary help for their unfailing courtesy and attention.
b) whoever is responsible for the cleanliness of the ward and theatre
c) the registrar for his kindness, thorough and understandable explanation of the process and what I should expect afterwards.
d) the porter (and aide) for his humour and respect
e) the aftercare nurse for her care and explanation of how to look after my wound.
the whole experience was trouble free and I was extremely impressed with the standard of attention and care.
the operation was on Friday 29 September and I was the first that day. I hope all the staff concerned are able to hear of my delight and satisfaction with their care.
"Excellent care at Manfield Day Surgery"
